• By Airplane These are the closest airports.

• By Train Information about the italian train timetables can be found on the Trenitalia site.
• By Car The area is just outside the Agrate exit of the A4 motoway. There are two distinct toll barriers: a northern one for the traffic coming from the motorways around Milano and a southern one for the traffic coming from Venezia-Bergamo. The entrance to STMicroelectronics is 50 m on the right after the northern barrier. The visitor parking is on the left of the lane, and the reception is at the end (see the detailed map). Vehicles coming out from the southern barrier have to turn right immediately, cross the bridge over the motorway, and turn right again. After few meters you find the entrance lane at your left.
• By Taxi Taxis are easily found outside airports and in front of the major railway stations: Centrale, Lambrate and Porta Garibaldi. Ask the driver to bring you to STMicroelectronics (ex SGS-Thomson) plant in Agrate, giving the above indications if required.
• By Bus Bus line NET (Nord Est Trasporti) Milano-Bergamo, Agrate toll barrier stop. The buses depart from Piazza Cadorna (nearby the train station), Lampugnano or Central Station, which are near to the underground. There is a bus leaving more or less every 30 minutes and it takes 30-50 minutes to reach Agrate toll barrier. The bus also stops in Sesto S. Giovanni, at the railway station (Sesto FS stop of underground red line). You can check the timetables for Milan to Bergamo and Bergamo to Milan.
  Tickets can be bought at the news agent inside the railway stations. From the stop at the Agrate toll barrier, take the underway towards Agrate. You will emerge beside the fence of the ST plant: follow it to reach the reception 100 m ahead.
• How to get to the underground railway (metropolitana) (if you need to reach Piazza Cadorna, Central Station or Lampugnano in Milan or the station of Sesto San Giovanni and you don't want to take a taxi)
  From the railway stations: there are underground stops near the train stations Milano Centrale, Milano Porta Garibaldi, Milano Lambrate, Milano Cadorna, Milano Bovisa, Sesto S. Giovanni.
  From the airports:
  • Malpensa: the shuttle train "Malpensa Express" stops at Milano Cadorna (red and green line).
  • Linate: the shuttle bus stops at Piazza San Babila (red line) or Central Station (red and yellow line).
